|.25 cup||(60 mL) Grated Old Cheddar cheese|
|4||Slices Bacon, cooked crisp|
|.5||Apple, thinly sliced|
|.25 cup||(60 mL) Grated Swiss or Gruyere cheese|
|4 tbsp||(60 mL) Butter, softened|
ASSEMBLE the sandwich by dividing the cheddar cheese between two slices of bread. Top each with bacon, apple slices, swiss or gruyere cheese, and the second slice of bread.
PREHEAT a large non-stick skillet to medium. Butter the outside of each sandwich and grill for 2 minutes per side or until golden brown and the cheese has melted.
