About this Recipe

Tender-crisp vegetables with ginger and garlic, tossed with noodles and just a bit of heat from the chillies.


2 tsp (10 mL) Vegetable oil
1 tsp (5 mL) Freshly grated ginger
1 Clove garlic, minced
Pinch of chili flakes
2 cups (500 mL) Assorted stir-fry vegetables (broccoli, carrot, peppers, onion, water chestnut)
1/2 Pkg (454 g) instant chow mein noodles


HEAT oil in a large skillet or wok to medium-high. Add ginger, garlic, chili flakes and vegetables. Stir-fry until the vegetables are tender-crisp, about 5-6 minutes.

MEANWHILE cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and toss noodles with the vegetable mixture. Toss to coat and serve.
