These sausages are the perfect match for this fresh, homemade salsa. Corn, peppers, beans and buttery avocado with a hint of honey and lime! You want one?


1 (300 g) Package (4 pieces) Schneiders® Chipotle Monterey Jack Chicken Sausage
4 D’Italiano brizzolio rolls
2 tbsp (30 mL) Honey
3 tbsp (45 mL) Lime juice
1 tsp (5 mL) Cumin
1 tbsp (15 mL) Chopped cilantro
1 cup (250 mL) Corn
1/2 cup (125 mL) Canned black beans, rinsed and drained
1 Small red pepper, diced
1 Small avocado, diced
Salt and pepper


PREHEAT a lightly oiled grill to medium. Grill sausages for 5-6 minutes, turning frequently.

MEANWHILE whisk together honey, lime juice, cumin and cilantro. Place the remaining ingredients in a small bowl; drizzle with dressing and toss to coat.

ASSEMBLE by placing a grilled sausage into each bun then topping with salsa.

Serve with an ice cold Pepsi® and Lay’s® potato chips!
