Spicy bits of sausage in a crisp taco shell topped with your favourite toppings. Delicious!
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) Olive oil|
|1||Small onion, thinly sliced|
|1/2||Red pepper, diced|
|4||Schneiders® Chipotle Monterey Jack Chicken Grill’ems®, diced|
|3 tbsp||(45 mL) Ready prepared BBQ sauce|
|3 tbsp||(45 mL) Chopped fresh cilantro|
|10||Taco shells or tortillas|
HEAT olive oil in a large skillet over medium. Add onion and cook, stirring occasionally for 6-8 minutes or until lightly caramelized. Add red pepper and sausages. Increase heat to medium-high and continue to cook for 3-4 minutes. Stir in BBQ sauce and cilantro. Heat through.
MEANWHILE heat taco shells or tortillas according to the package directions.
SERVE tacos with meat mixture and assorted toppings and a squeeze of lime.
