The chipotle mayonnaise adds a little extra zing to the sandwich which makes it extra tasty.
1/2 | cooked Maple Leaf Prime Naturally Thinly Slice Chicken Breast |
2 | toasted slices of rye bread |
1 | romaine washed lettuce leaf |
2 | thin slices of sweet onion |
2 tbsp | mayonnaise |
1/4 tsp | chipotle powder |
1/2 tsp | yellow mustard |
salt and fresh cracked pepper |
Mix chipotle powder into the mayonnaise in a small dish and then spread on both sides of the toasted rye bread. Then place lettuce, sliced onions and cooked chicken on top of bread. Add salt and pepper if required. Spread mustard on remaining slice and then put together. Cut in half and enjoy!
Cook extra chicken breasts for supper and save to use to make sandwiches the next day.
