The perfect amount of sweet and spicy are in these carrots. A great side dish to accompany any "beefy" meal.


4 Large Carrots
1 tsp Chili Powder
1/2 tsp Chili Flakes
2 tbsp Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Lime Juice
2 tbsp Margarine or Butter


Preheat Oven to 350.

Wash, peel and cut carrots down the center, then into quarters and place into baking dish. I like to use a meatloaf dish for these.

Top Carrots With:

2 Tbsp Margarine
1 tsp Chili Powder
1/2 tsp Chili Flakes
2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
Approx. 1-1½ Tbsp Lime Juice
Season with Salt and Pepper

Add a few tablespoons of water...Not to much. Add just enough so the carrots will not stick to the bottom.

Cover with foil and cook for approx. 30 minutes.
UNCOVER and cook an additional 35-40 minutes.

Your spicy carrots are ready to enjoy!
