About this Recipe

Chicken Tikka Kebab is one of the most popular chicken dishes in India. Boneless chicken pieces marinated in a mix of yogurt and spices and grilled on a BBQ or in the oven is a perfect starter. Served with onion, tomato, cilantro salad and a green mint Raita.

3 Chicken breasts cut into cubes
1 cup Plain Yogurt
4 tbsp Tandoori Masala
1 tbsp Garlic Paste
1 tbsp Ginger Paste
4 tbsp Green Chutney
4 Limes
1 Onion cut into rings
1 Tomato chopped

Marinate the chicken pieces with 1/4 cup yogurt, ginger, garlic paste, tandoori masala and juice of 1 lime. Refrigerate overnight.

Skewer the chicken pieces and BBQ until down. You could grill them in the oven too.

Mint Raita
Take the rest of the plain yogurt and add the green chutney to it. This green chutney has mint in it. Add salt and some freshly squeezed lime juice. Check for seasoning.

In a bowl add the onion rings, chopped tomato and cilantro. Squeeze juice from 1/2 a lime and mix well.

Serve the hot Chicken Tikka Kebabs with the onion salad, Mint Raita and lemon wedges.

The total time doesn't include the marination time.
