About this Recipe

Chicken Subs are a quick and healthy meal. Chicken is a classic lean muscle building protein. Top it off with lettuce and vegetables which are packed with essential nutrients that benefit health.

Ingredients

1 Pkg Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Fully Cooked and Sliced Chicken Breasts (400 g)
4 Pkg Sub Buns ( we buy the pkg of 4 for our family)
0.5 cup Tomatoes - thinly sliced
1 cup Lettuce
0.5 cup Peppers - sliced
0.5 cup Cucumber - thinly sliced
0.25 cup Red Onion - thinly sliced

Directions

Wash, and cut lettuce and vegetables.
Heat Chicken Strips about 2 minutes.
Cut sub bun in half, add a few pieces of chicken on one side of bun.
Toast in oven for 3 minutes.
Remove, add lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, cucumber and onion.
