Impress your guests with a quick and easy appetizer or side made with Maple Leaf® Seasoned Chicken Breast Chunks.
|1||(5 oz/142 g) can Maple Leaf® Seasoned Chicken Breast Chunks(drained)|
|1 cup||(250 mL) cottage cheese|
|.5 cup||(125 mL) cheddar cheese, cubed into ½-inch (1 cm) pieces|
|.25 cup||(50 mL) green onions, thinly sliced|
|.25 cup||(50 mL) green peppers, diced into ¼-inch (5 mm) pieces|
SLICE one end off each tomato and scoop out insides with a teaspoon.
DRAIN and chop pulp.
COMBINE chopped tomato with remaining ingredients.
FILL tomatoes with chicken mixture and place “lids” back on top.
SERVE on a bed of lettuce with hot rolls, if desired.
