Poutine, made famous by French Canadians, is a simple dish made with fries, gravy and cheese curds. I added some Maple Leaf Prime chicken to give it a unique flavor with some added protein.
|2||Maple Leaf Prime chicken breasts|
|2||French Fries serving|
|2 cups||Cheese curds grated|
|1 can||Poutine gravy|
Cook the fries as directed. Slice up the chicken. Put frying pan at medium heat and add some butter. When the pan is hot, add the chicken and stir occasionally until cooked. Heat up the poutine sauce until it begins to boil. When the fries are done, remove them from the oven. Put the cheese and chicken on the fries. Then top it hot gravy. The cheese should melt. If it doesn’t, put some on a plate and put in the microwave briefly (30-60 seconds). Serve hot.
