These chicken nachos are made with chicken breasts that have marinated in fresh lime juice, garlic, chili powder and oregano.
250 ml sour cream
250 ml fresh cilantro
1 green onion, diced
1/2 jalapeño, diced
1 tbsp fresh lime juice
|450 g||Maple Leaf Prime Naturally Thin Sliced Chicken Breasts|
|3||cloves of garlic, minced|
|5 ml||chili powder|
|1 Pkg||Tex Mex Shredded Cheese|
|1||bag Tortilla Chips|
|1/2 cup||green pepper, diced|
|2||green onions, diced|
1- In a plastic bag mix the lime juice with garlic, chili powder and oregano. Add the chicken. Marinate at least 2 hours.
2- Preheat the oven to 350F. Place the chicken on a cookie sheet covered with foil. Bake until chicken is cooked. Remove from the oven and slice the chicken.
3- On a large cookie sheet place a piece of parchemin paper. Spread the Tortilla Chips on the cookie sheet. Top with 1-2 cups of shredded cheese. Place the pieces of chicken on top.
4- Broil in the oven until the cheese has melted, about 2-3 minutes.
5- When the cheese had melted, removed from the oven. Top with jalapeños, green peppers, tomatoes and green onions.
