Combine Prime Naturally® Butterflied Chicken Breasts and Villaggio® Italian Style Panini Bread for a delicious sandwich to make your lunch exciting!
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Olive oil, divided|
|.25 tsp||(1 mL) Each salt and fresh cracked pepper|
|1||Package Prime Naturally® Butterflied Chicken Breasts|
|.5 cup||(125 mL) Pasta sauce|
|2||Slices Mozzarella (or ½ cup/125 mL grated)|
|4||Slices Villaggio® Italian Style Panini Bread|
HEAT half of the oil in non-stick skillet. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. Cook chicken over medium heat, for about 4-5 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 170°F (77°C).
TOP 2 slices of bread with chicken. Spoon sauce over chicken and top with cheese and basil; cover with remaining bread to make sandwiches.
BRUSH outside of bread with remaining oil and place in Panini press. Cook until golden and crisp, about 4-5 minutes.
