Rich and decadent. Serve this mouthwatering creamy chicken sauce over rice or pasta.


1 tbsp (15 mL) Olive oil
1 tbsp (15 mL) Butter
3 Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts, cut into 1” (2.5 cm) strips
1 tbsp (15 mL) Flour
.75 cup (175 mL) Chicken broth
1 (150 g) Package garlic and herb soft cheese
2 tbsp (30 mL) Chopped fresh chives
2 tbsp (30 mL) Chopped fresh tarragon
1 tbsp (15 mL) Chopped fresh basil


HEAT olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and internal temperature of chicken reaches 165°F (74°C). Remove from pan with a slotted spoon and set aside.

STIR flour into pan and cook 1 minute. Stir in chicken broth and cook, stirring frequently until thickened. Add cheese, herbs and chicken. Cook an additional 1-2 minutes, until cheese is melted and sauce is hot.


Serve over pasta or rice. Garnish with herbs.
