Super quick and easy chicken fried rice to serve at home.


2 tbsp (30 mL) Vegetable oil
3 Carrots, diced
2 Eggs, beaten
1 cup (250 mL) Frozen peas
1 (150 g) Package Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Oven Roasted Chicken Breast Slices, chopped
4 cups (1 L) Cooked white rice
¼ cup (60 mL) Soy sauce
2 tsp (10 mL) Sesame oil
1 tbsp (15 mL) Hoisin sauce
1 tbsp (15 mL) Sambal Oelek (ground fresh chili paste)


HEAT oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add carrots and sauté until tender crisp. Add egg and stir constantly until scrambled. Add peas, chicken and rice to the skillet and toss to combine.

COMBINE soy sauce, sesame oil, hoisin and sambal oelek in a small bowl.

POUR sauce over rice and toss to coat. Serve hot. Tips/Conseils Garnish with thinly sliced green onions.
