About this Recipe

1 Package Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Thin Slice Chicken Breast
3/4 cup Flour
Salt & pepper
2 Eggs
2 tbsp Milk or water
3 tbsp Olive oil
3 tbsp Olive oil
2 tbsp Flour
1 cup Chicken broth
1/2 cup White wine
1 Lemon, zested and juiced
3 tbsp Butter
Salt & pepper
Chopped fresh parsley
1 Lemon, sliced for garnish

COMBINE flour with salt and pepper in a shallow bowl. Whisk together egg and milk (or water) in a separate shallow bowl.

HEAT olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Dredge chicken pieces in flour to coat, dust off the excess and dip into egg mixture then back into flour. Fry in olive oil until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Transfer to a plate and keep warm.

HEAT olive oil in the same skillet as you cooked the chicken. Whisk in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes. Stir in chicken broth, wine and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes or until sauce begins to thicken. Stir in butter and season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve chicken drizzled with sauce and garnished with fresh parsley and lemon slices.

Serve with your favourite side dish.
