Melted Brie cheese over a tasty nugget of chicken kicked up with your favourite Franks® Hot Sauce®. The baby arugula gives this recipe a bump of freshness and interacts well with the savoriness of the brie cheese. You can always load up these chicken burger bites as well, though sometimes keeping things simple is best!
|12||Maple Leaf Prime® Naturally* Chicken Nuggets|
|4||Large flour tortillas|
|1/2||Small round of Brie cheese, cut into 1 ½” (3.75 cm) square slices|
|12||Leaves baby arugula|
|1/4||(60 mL) Franks® Red Hot® Sauce (choose your favourite)|
HEAT chicken nuggets according to the package directions. Meanwhile, cut each tortilla into 6 – 2” (5 cm) rounds using a cookie cutter. Set aside.
REMOVE nuggets from the oven and top each with a piece of Brie cheese. Return to the oven to melt the cheese.
ASSEMBLE chicken burger bites using a tortilla round for the bottom. Top with arugula, a cheesy nugget, 1 tsp (5 mL) hot sauce and another tortilla. Skewer with a toothpick to help keep them together and serve.
