About this Recipe

2 Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
1 tbsp (15 mL) Vegetable oil

3 tbsp (45 mL) Butter
2 Cloves garlic, minced
1 Small onion, chopped
2 tbsp (30 mL) Flour
½ cup (125 mL) Chicken broth
½ cup (125 mL) White wine
¼ cup (60 mL) Chopped parsley
1 tsp (5 mL) Dried marjoram
½ cup (125 mL) Sour cream
Salt and pepper

HEAT oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken, cover and cook for 15 minutes, turning frequently until browned and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

REMOVE chicken from the pan and set aside. Add butter; when sizzling and frothy, stir in garlic and onion. Cook until the onion is soft. Stir in flour, cook for 1 minute. Add chicken broth, wine and seasonings. Cook until the mixture comes to a boil and thickens. Reduce heat to low and add sour cream. Stir until heated through. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with fresh parsley. Serve the chicken smothered with white wine sauce.

Serve with rice and your favourite vegetables.
