Delicious Chicken gyro that your family and friends will enjoy serve with oven baked fries for a healthy and complete meal.


Chicken Soulvaki
2 lbs Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Chicken Breast Fillets
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
plus more for brushing
1/4 cup lemon juice
3 tbsp plain sour cream
1 tbsp red wine vinegar
1/3 cup chopped onions
2 cloves garlic
2 Italian Herbs
1/2 tsp coriander
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
to taste
Sour Cream Sauce
1 cup sour cream (I used fat free)
1 tsp Powdered Garlic
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp dry parsley
1 tbsp dried dill
Freshly ground black pepper
6-8 Greek Pita Flat Bread
Romaine lettuce leavesTomato slices
Red onion slices
Feta Cheese


Directions Sour Cream Sauce

In a bowl mix sour cream, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, parlsey, and dill and season
with salt and pepper to taste. Store in refrigerator in an airtight container up to 3 days.

For serving
6 - 8 Greek Pita Flatbread
Sour Cream Sauce or store bought Tzatziki Sauce
Diced tomatoes, peeled and diced cucumbers (optional), chopped Romaine lettuce, diced red or white onions, feta cheese (optional), cilantro and chopped olives (olives optional)

Directions for Chicken

In a bowl, mix together olive oil, lemon juice, sour cream, red wine vinegar, chopped onions, garlic, italian herbs, coriander and season with salt and freshly
ground black pepper to taste. Place chicken in a bowl and pour marinade over chicken, cover the bowl to marinate about
2 - 4 hours. Remove the chicken from the fridge during the last 30 minutes of marinating to rest at room temperature before cooking. Leave the chicken
in the marinade.

You can either grill the chicken on the grill or cook it in the oven until it's well cooked.

Layer chicken in a row along center of pita, top with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, chopped olives, onion, feta, cilantro and sauce. Wrap and serve.
