Gourmet chicken burgers with creamy, melted brie cheese and sweet, spicy pepper jelly all topped with peppery arugula and of course, bacon!
|1||(454 g) Package Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Ground Chicken|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Finely chopped parsley|
|2 tsp||(10 mL) Finely chopped fresh thyme|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Dijon mustard|
|2||Cloves garlic, minced|
|Salt and pepper|
|1/4 cup||(60 mL) Breadcrumbs|
|(8 oz/ 226 g) Brie cheese, sliced|
|4||Wonder™ Hamburger buns|
|1 cup||(250 mL) Red pepper jelly|
|1 cup||(250 mL) Arugula|
|8||Slices Maple Leaf® Bacon, cooked crisp|
MIX together ground chicken, egg, chopped parsley and thyme, mustard, garlic, salt, pepper and breadcrumbs. Divide the mixture into four patties and set aside.
PREHEAT the BBQ to medium. Lightly coat the grill with non-stick cooking spray. Grill the burgers for 5 minutes per side or until the internal temperature has reached 165°F (74°C). Divided the cheese between the four burgers and allow to melt.
MEANWHILE, spread the bottom of the buns with pepper jelly. Top with arugula and the chicken burger with melted cheese. Add two slices of bacon to each and top with the remaining half of the bun.
Serve with an ice cold Pepsi® and Tostitos® tortilla chips!
