About this Recipe

Lunch in a jiffy. A light and refreshing pea salad tossed with fresh basil and tender slices of chicken breast.

Ingredients

2 cups (500 mL) Frozen peas
3 Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts, cooked and sliced
1 Red pepper, sliced
1/4 cup (60 mL) Chopped fresh basil
1/4 cup Creamy Dressing of your choice
1/4 cup maple leaf ready crisp bacon made into bits
1/2 head of lettuce coarsely chopped

Directions

PLACE peas in a large bowl and cover with hot water. Allow to sit 1-2 minutes until thawed, then drain.

COMBINE chicken, peas, peppers, bacon bits, lettuce, basil and dressing.

Serve in wraps
