Lunch in a jiffy. A light and refreshing pea salad tossed with fresh basil and tender slices of chicken breast.
|2 cups||(500 mL) Frozen peas|
|3||Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts, cooked and sliced|
|1||Red pepper, sliced|
|1/4 cup||(60 mL) Chopped fresh basil|
|1/4 cup||Creamy Dressing of your choice|
|1/4 cup||maple leaf ready crisp bacon made into bits|
|1/2||head of lettuce coarsely chopped|
PLACE peas in a large bowl and cover with hot water. Allow to sit 1-2 minutes until thawed, then drain.
COMBINE chicken, peas, peppers, bacon bits, lettuce, basil and dressing.
Serve in wraps
