Maple Leaf Prime® Fully Cooked Chicken Breast Strips are sautéed in a creamy Olivieri® Alfredo Sauce. This mouth-watering mixture is then served atop a bed of fresh Olivieri® Fettuccine pasta.
|10 ml||Olive oil|
|4||Large mushrooms, thinly sliced|
|75 ml||Thinly sliced red onion|
|150 g||Package MAPLE LEAF Prime® Fully Cooked Chicken Breast Strips|
|125 ml||Chicken broth|
|300 ml||Tub OLIVIERI® Alfredo Sauce|
|350 g||Package OLIVIERI® Fettuccine|
|0.5||Red pepper, thinly sliced|
|15 ml||Coarsely chopped parsley|
|30 ml||Grated parmesan|
HEAT oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté mushrooms and onions for 2-3 minutes; add chicken strips and continue cooking for 3 minutes. Deglaze pan with chicken broth.
ADD Alfredo sauce and heat on low for 2-3 minutes. Meanwhile, cook pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water for 3 minutes.
DRAIN cooked pasta well and add to skillet.
TOSS to coat pasta with sauce. Garnish with sliced red peppers, parsley and grated parmesan.
