This recipe tastes so rich & creamy, it's the only way my husband & I will have Caesar Salad now!
|3||Romaine Heart husks|
|8||slices of bacon cooked, crumbled|
|1/4 cups||Parmesan Cheese - shredded|
|2||Green Zabulia (Onions!) finely chopped|
|1/2 cups||Caesar Salad Dressing|
Heat BBQ to medium heat. Take each head of Romaine lettuce & lightly brush with EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) to cover the outside body of the lettuce. Season with salt & pepper. Place each head of lettuce on the BBQ & cook for a couple of minutes, turning before the leaves turn too wilty & chard. Grill until all sides of the lettuce is cooked. Remove Romaine & cool for a few minutes. Cut Romaine into bite size pieces & put in large bowl. Add the bacon, cheese, zabulia & salad dressing & toss to coat. I usually BBQ a couple of chicken breasts to slice up & add to the salad. Enjoy!
