Leftover prime rib makes my favourite sandwiches. You could substitute other shredded beef, or deli roast beef if you like.
I also used leftover mushrooms and onions but it is quick to make them up fresh as well.
|1||Large fresh bun|
|5 oz||sliced prime rib (or other beef)|
|4 tbsp||sauteed onions and mushrooms|
|4 tbsp||cheese sauce (or cheese whiz if you prefer)|
|2 tbsp||garlic butter|
Spread bun with garlic butter and grill in skillet with the butter side down until it browns (about 1 min).
Heat the sautéed mushrooms and onions in microwave. Pile onto the bun with the beef and top with warmed cheese sauce. Put on the top bun.
