The perfect delicious snack to quickly make before dinner or as an appetizer!


4 Slices Villaggio® Original Thick Sliced Italian Style White Bread
4 tbsp (60 mL) Butter, room temperature
3 tbsp (45 mL) Mayonnaise
1/2 cup (125 mL) Pimento stuffed green olives, chopped
1/2 cup (125 mL) Black olives, chopped
1 cup (250 mL) Grated Mozzarella cheese
1 tbsp (15 mL) Chopped fresh parsley


PREHEAT broiler to high heat. Arrange bread on a baking sheet and place under the broiler for 2-3 minutes per side or until evenly toasted.

COMBINE butter, mayonnaise, olives, cheese, pepper and parsley. Spread evenly over each slice of toast and place under the broiler until cheese has melted.


Replace olives with roasted red peppers or chopped vegetables.
