Tasty little morsels wrapped in bacon. So good with the spicy dipping sauce.
|24||Tater tots, room temperature|
|1 tsp||(5 mL) Chili powder|
|(4 oz/110 g) Cheddar cheese, sliced thin and cut into ¼” (.5 cm) pieces|
|12||Slices Maple Leaf® Bacon, cut in half|
|SPICY CREAMY BBQ DIPPING SAUCE|
|1/2 cup||cup Mayonnaise|
|1/4 cup||(60 mL) BBQ sauce|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Franks™ Original Hot Sauce®|
PREHEAT oven to 375°F (190°C).
TOSS tater tots with chili powder in a small bowl. Assemble by placing a piece of cheese on a half slice of bacon followed by a spiced tater tot. Roll tightly and secure with a toothpick. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
BAKE for 20-25 minutes or until the bacon is crisp and the cheese has melted.
MIX together all of the ingredients for the dipping sauce in a small bowl. Dip and enjoy with warm Tater Baconator Bites.
