.this my family favorite meatloaf. when you bite into the crispy bacon and oozing cheese its just like a dream!


1 lb ground beef
1 lb ground pork
1 cup finly chopped onion
1 cup ketchup
1 cup mustard
1/4 cup mayo
2 cups cheddar or your favorite cheese
2 tbsp parsley
2 tbsp franks hot sauce
1 lb maple leaf bacon


-in a small bowl mix the mustard ketchup and mayo together.
-in a large bowl mix the meats,onion, parsly, hot sauce and half of the mustard mix .
-take half of the meat mix and form into a log
-dig a trench through the beef mixture
-add all of your cheese
--with remainder of beef mixture form another log and put on top
-make sure to seal all the edges so the cheese doesn't melt out.on top --add the rest of the mustard mixture
-on top of that weave the bacon to look like a basket
bake for 1 hour at 350


this is a wonderful meal on a cold winters night with a side of mashed potatoes
