This take on a grilled cheese brings it to another level! Ooey gooey mac and cheese gets tag teamed with even more cheese and loaded with ham.
|1 Pkg||(175 g) Maple Leaf Natural Selections Smoked Black Forest Ham|
|8||slices texas style toast|
|2 cup||(500 mL) macaroni and cheese|
|4||slices cheddar cheese|
|4 tbsp||(60 mL) butter|
Heat oven to 400 degrees.
Butter the top of 4 slices of bread.
Arrange sandwiches by scooping ½ of cup mac and cheese onto each bottom bread followed by ham and sliced cheddar.
Top with buttered slice of bread.
Bake in oven for 6 to 8 minutes and then broil for 1 minute or until tops of bread are golden brown and cheese has melted.
Serve with ketchup or tomato chutney
