About this Recipe

While almost any cut of pork can be used for this recipe I am a a fan of using boneless pork loin. This recipe is not necessarily the most authentic there is, but it is quick easy and delicious! The food colouring is always optional - but with out it you will not get the bright colour associated with this dish normally. By cooking it at a lower temperature the meat stays super moist and the marinade does not get too dark.

Ingredients

5 lb Pork Loin - Boneless
1/2 cup Ketchup
1/4 cup Tamari (Gluten Free Soy Sauce)
1 tbsp Five Spice
1 tbsp Rice Wine Vinager
1 tsp Red Food Colouring (OPTIONAL)

Directions

Cut the pork loin in half length wise.

Combine all of the remaining ingredients.

Place pork and marinade in a resealable plastic bag or non-reactive bowl

Marinate for about 3 hours.

Roast at 300 F until fully cooked. (about 2 hours)

Allow to rest for 15 minutes before cutting.
