A hint of garlic in the bread, smooth Bocconcini cheese, melted to creamy goodness around sundried tomatoes and fresh herbs.
|3 oz||(85 g) Sliced Bocconcini cheese|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Chopped sundried tomatoes packed in oil|
|Pinch of chili flakes, optional|
|1 tsp||(5 mL) Parmesan cheese|
|Chopped fresh herbs (basil, parsley, oregano)|
|2||slices Villaggio® Toaster Garlic Bread|
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) Softened butter|
ASSEMBLE sandwich by placing half of the cheese slices on one slice of bread. Top with sun-dried tomatoes, chili flakes, if using, Parmesan cheese and fresh herbs. Add the remaining cheese and the second slice of bread.
BUTTER both sides of the outside of the sandwich. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium and grill the sandwich for about 2 minutes per side or until the cheese has melted and the bread is toasted golden brown.
