Classic Italian flavors meld to create this take on a super simple, delicious grilled cheese.
|1 Pkg||(175 g) Maple Leaf Natural Selections Hickory Smoked Chicken|
|8||slices Panini style bread|
|16||slices fresh mozzarella, sliced|
|1 cup||(250 mL) bruschetta mix|
|8||fresh basil leaves|
|4 tbsp||(60 mL) butter|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) olive oil|
Assemble sandwich by layering each bottom slice of bread with 2 slices of mozzarella.
Spoon bruschetta mix over top followed by chicken, remaining slices of cheese and basil.
Top with remaining slice of bread.
Heat butter and oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.
Fry each sandwich 2 to 3 minutes per side or until cheese has melted and bread is golden brown.
Serve with a side Caesar salad
