Classic Italian flavors meld to create this take on a super simple, delicious grilled cheese.
1 Pkg | (175 g) Maple Leaf Natural Selections Hickory Smoked Chicken |
8 | slices Panini style bread |
16 | slices fresh mozzarella, sliced |
1 cup | (250 mL) bruschetta mix |
8 | fresh basil leaves |
4 tbsp | (60 mL) butter |
2 tbsp | (30 mL) olive oil |
Assemble sandwich by layering each bottom slice of bread with 2 slices of mozzarella.
Spoon bruschetta mix over top followed by chicken, remaining slices of cheese and basil.
Top with remaining slice of bread.
Heat butter and oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.
Fry each sandwich 2 to 3 minutes per side or until cheese has melted and bread is golden brown.
Serve with a side Caesar salad
