Fresh and delicious simplicity! Imagine sun – warmed tomatoes, fresh basil from the garden, and lovely, Bocconcini cheese on a Whole Wheat bagel.


4 tbsp (60 mL) Olive oil mayonnaise
4 tsp (20 mL) Chopped fresh basil
1 Dempsters’s® 100% Whole Wheat Bagel, lightly toasted
2 Slices tomato
Salt and pepper
2 Slices Bocconcini cheese
Fresh basil leaves or arugula


MIX mayonnaise with fresh chopped basil Spread over the cut sides of the bagel. Top the bottom half of the bagel with tomato slices, season with salt and pepper; add Bocconcini slices, basil or arugula and the top of the bagel.
