6 Slices Schneiders® Bacon
1 tbsp (15 mL) Sugar
1/4 tsp (1 mL) Nutmeg
1/4 cup (60 mL) Caramel sauce or dulce de leche
4 oz Rum (optional)
4 cups (1 L) Eggnog


PREHEAT oven to 375°F (190°C).

ARRANGE bacon slices on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Cook for 30-35 minutes or until very crisp. Place the cooked bacon in a food processor along with sugar and nutmeg. Pulse until the mixture resembles a graham crumb mixture. Place the mixture in a shallow bowl or saucer and add the caramel sauce to another shallow bowl or saucer.

DIP each of four glasses, first into the caramel then into the bacon crumb mixture patting the bacon onto the caramel covered rim of the glass to adhere. Fill the glasses with ice cubes, divide the rum between the four glasses if using and fill with eggnog.
