The perfect bite to share at a get together with friends or family. This brown sugar baked brie, topped with candied bacon, is sweet, salty, gooey and delicious. The recipe for candied bacon is in my recipe box.
|2 tbsp||pecans, chopped|
|pinch of sea salt|
|2 tbsp||candied bacon, chopped|
|1 Pkg||Brie, small|
|crackers, apples, pears, cut up|
|1 tbsp||brown sugar|
Preheat oven to 350.
Remove brie from package and place on pie plate/dish or oven proof fry pan. Skor top a couple of times. Place in oven and bake for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile mix together brown sugar, pecans, brandy, amaretto and salt.
After 5 minutes remove brie from oven. Pour brown sugar mixture on top and bake for an additional 5-8 minutes.
Remove from oven and let sit for a few minutes.
Sprinkle with candied bacon and serve with pear slices, apple slices or crackers.
