About this Recipe

No need to pack a big pot to enjoy corn on the cob by the fire - and this method is so yummy!

Ingredients

12 Cobs of Corn - still in the husk
Salt
Butter

Directions

1. Soak the corn in cold water water for about 2 hours. This can be done in a bucket, in the lake..... get creative.

2. Cook the corn either directly over a bed of coals or surrounding the fire. The husk can get really charred, but watch that they do not catch on fire. Make sure you rotate them around every few minute to ensure even cooking. Time will vary greatly depending on the heat of your fire, but plan on about 30 minutes.

3. Holding the silk firmly now shuck the corn, pulling down. Your hands may get a little dirty from the char on the husks, using rubber gloves, newspaper or paper towels can help.

4. Slather with butter and sprinkle on the salt!
