Spicy grilled Cajun chicken tossed in a creamy white sauce is a delicious treat for summer and its so very easy to make!
|1 Pkg||Bow Tie Pasta|
|500 ml||Fresh Cream|
|1/2 tsp||Dried Basil|
|2 tbsp||Cajun Spice Mix|
|1/2 cup||Grated Parmesan Cheese|
|2 tbsp||Philadelphia Garlic and Herb Cream Cheese|
|Salt and Pepper to taste|
|2||Garlic Cloves chopped fine|
|2 tbsp||Butter or Margarine|
Cut chicken into thin strips and marinate with the Cajun spice, garlic powder, salt & pepper. Refrigerate for at least an hour.
Preheat oven at 180 degrees.
Grill chicken until nice and tender.
Cook pasta according to the package. Do not over cook.
In a large pan over medium heat, add butter and sauté the garlic. Do not let it it burn. Reduce heat and add the cream,scallion, green onion, basil, salt and pepper. Once it comes to a slow boil add the chicken and pasta and let thicken to the consistency you want. If the sauce gets too thick you can add some milk. Add 1/4 cup of the shredded parmesan cheese. Save the rest of the cheese to sprinkle on your pasta while serving.
