Simply combine crisp Romaine lettuce, shaved Parmesan cheese and creamy caesar dressing with Maple Leaf Prime® Butterflied Chicken Breasts to create this savoury sandwich at home!
|.5 cup||(125 mL) Refrigerated Caesar salad dressing, divided|
|.25 tbsp||(1 mL) Chipotle chili powder|
|1||Package Maple Leaf PRIME™ Naturally® Butterflied Chicken Breasts|
|2 tbsp||(10 mL) Olive oil, divided|
|.5||(0.5) Sweet onion, sliced|
|4||Strips MAPLE LEAF® READY CRISP® Fully-Cooked Bacon|
|2||Large panini buns|
|4||Romaine lettuce leaves, washed and dried|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Shaved Parmesan cheese|
MIX Caesar dressing with chipotle chili powder & place 3 tbsp (45 mL) in a sealable bag with chicken breasts. Massage chicken to coat all surfaces.
HEAT 1 tsp (5 mL) oil in large fry pan on medium heat. Pan fry chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Reduce heat & continue cooking to an internal temperature of 170ºF (77ºC). Remove from pan and set aside. Sauté onions with remaining oil for 1-2 minutes.Cook bacon following package directions.
SPREAD remaining dressing mixture on Panini buns & assemble sandwiches. TIP: Serve cold or grill in a Panini press.
