Craving a cool Caesar salad but can’t resist the BBQ? Get the best of both worlds in this twist on a Caesar style sausage!
|1 Pkg||375 gr Schneiders Original Grill ems|
|5||slices Schneiders® Bacon|
|5||hearts of romain|
|1/4 cup||(60mL) small croutons|
|1/4 cup||(60mL) parmesan cheese, grated|
|1/2 cup||(125mL) prepared Caesar salad dressing|
PREHEAT grill to medium high heat.
GRILL sausages 6 to 10 minutes turning frequently or until an internal temperature of 165 degrees is reached.
ALLOW to cool slightly.
WRAP one slice of bacon around each sausage and return to the grill for 1 to 1 ½ minutes or until bacon softens around sausage and begins to crisp.
PLACE each sausage onto romain heart.
DIVIDE croutons and cheese onto each sausage.
DRIZZLE with dressing and squeeze lemon juice over top.
For an extra intense flavor grill lemon halved for about 1 minute.
