Grilled bacon, garlic aioli, and a bed of arugula combine to make a full-flavoured, hearty and mouth-watering burger.


16 Natural Selections Naturally Hardwood Smoked Bacon slices
1 lb lean ground beef
1 cup arugula leaves
3/4 cup mayonnaise
3 cloves garlic
2 tbsp lemon juice
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
4 Dempster's Original Hamburger Buns


To make the Garlic Aioli:

Mix mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Grill Bacon and Hamburgers:

Heat grill to medium high heat. Place bacon on a large piece of foil, turn up edge to form a shallow dish. Grill bacon until desired doneness, turning frequently. Set bacon on to top grill rack or remove from barbeque.

Season and grill hamburgers until desired doneness. Toast buns on grill if desired. Assemble hamburgers with bacon, arugula, garlic aioli and hamburger patties.
