Also known as Korean Army Base Stew, essentially you need something hot sauce, some hot dogs, luncheon meat, instant noodles and some vegetables. Here is what I had in the house to make this.


1 package instant noodles, discard flavour pack
4 Maple Leaf Top Dogs regular size
3 cups chicken stock
2 tsp Siracha hot pepper sauce
3 tsp chili powder
1/2 can Holiday luncheon meat
1/2 can baked beans
1 garlic clove
1 cup vegetables
3 green onions
1 slice of process cheese


Mince garlic clove and add spices. Slice vegetables into thin slices so it will cook quickly and green onions into chunks. Bring stock to boil and add garlic and spice mix. Add vegetables, baked beans, and meats and simmer for about 5-10 minutes until vegetables start to soften. Add noodles and simmer for about 5-10 minutes until noodles are soft.

To serve, ladle into bowls and garnish with a strip of cheese. It should melt with the heat of the stew.
