These savoury little bundles of deliciousness are easy to make and they will be a big hit with everyone at your next brunch.
|1/4 cup||(60 mL) Cream|
|1/4 cup||(60 mL) Green onion, finely chopped|
|1/2||Red pepper, finely diced|
|Salt and pepper|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Butter|
|1||(235 g) Package crescent rolls|
|4||Slices Maple Leaf Original Natural Bacon, cut in half and cooked|
|1 cup||(250 mL) Shredded Cheddar cheese|
PREHEAT oven to 375°F (190°C).
WHISK together eggs, cream, onion, red pepper, salt and pepper. Melt butter in a medium non-stick skillet.
ADD the egg mixture and cook stirring occasionally until the eggs are scrambled and set, about 5 minutes.
PLACE crescent rolls on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
ASSEMBLE bundles by placing a piece of bacon on each followed by scrambled eggs and cheese.
ROLL the dough around the filling and bake according to the package directions for the crescent rolls. The outside should be golden brown and the cheese melted.
