|150 g||Schneiders® Country Naturals® Hot Sicilian Countryside Sausage, removed from casings|
|2||Slices Maple Leaf® Ready Crisp® Bacon Strips|
|1||Dempster’s® Deluxe Sausage Bun|
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) Mayonnaise|
|1/4 cup||(60 mL) Loosely packed arugula|
|1/2||Tomato, sliced and halved|
HEAT a non-stick skillet over medium. Shape the sausage meat into 6 equal sized meatballs. Place in the skillet and cook, turning occasionally for about 10 minutes or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
COOK bacon according to the package directions. Set aside.
ASSEMBLE the sandwich by spreading mayonnaise on each side of the bun. Place the bacon strips in the bun along with arugula, tomatoes and the cooked meatballs.
