A very delicious and Canadian burger.
|8 oz||ground chuck|
|1/2 oz||Worcestershire sauce|
|3 oz||maple syrup, divided|
|0.1 oz||cayenne pepper|
|2||pieces Maple Leaf bacon|
|1 oz||Frank's Red Hot sauce|
|2 oz||maple apple compote|
|1||slice aged cheddar cheese|
|1 oz||ice burg lettuce|
|3||red onion rings|
Combine ground chuck, beer, and Worcestershire sauce together and form into 1 burger patty. Cook burger until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees.
Combine mayonnaise, 1 oz of maple syrup & cayenne pepper together to form maple aioli for burger topping.
Mix Frank's Red Hot sauce and 1 oz of maple syrup together. Cook bacon 3/4 of the way through, brush with maple/hot sauce mixture on both sides and continue to cook until ready.
Mix your favourite store bought or homemade apple compote with remaining 1 oz of maple syrup.
While burger is cooking, toast brioche bun. Spread bun top with maple aioli. Add cheddar cheese to burger to melt during the last few minutes of cooking.
Place cooked burger onto toasted bun bottom. Top with garnishes; iceberg lettuce, onions, and finish with maple apple compote.
Serve with poutine, or another side. Enjoy!
