|1 lb||Lean ground beef|
|1||Medium onion, finely chopped|
|1/4 cup||Chopped fresh mint|
|1 tsp||Chili powder|
|Salt & pepper|
|6||Dempster’s® Original Small Tortillas|
|Ready prepared tzatziki|
|Thinly sliced cucumbers|
|Chopped fresh cilantro|
|Chopped fresh mint|
|Crumbled feta cheese|
COMBINE all ingredients for koftas together in a large bowl. Using your hands, mix gently. Form the meat mixture into six thick sausage shapes. Thread onto skewers and place on a baking sheet. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
PREHEAT BBQ to medium-high. Lightly coat the grill with a non-stick cooking spray. Place koftas on the preheated grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
SERVE wrapped in tortillas and topped with toppings of your choice.
If you are using wooden skewers, soak in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
