Top Dogs, bacon and grilled pineapple - you can't top these pizza toppings!
|1/2||fresh pineapple, cut into 1-thick slices|
|5||Maple Leaf Top Dogs Original Hot Dogs|
|5||slices Maple Leaf Original Natural Bacon, cooked and cut into 1-inch pieces*|
|1-300g Pkg||PC Thin Pizza Crusts|
|1 cup||(250 mL) PC Gourmet Barbecue Sauce|
|1 1/2 cups||(375 mL) shredded Mozzarella cheese|
Set up your barbecue for indirect grilling by turning the outside two burners to medium and leaving the centre burner off.
Place pineapple, and Top Dogs over direct heat. Grill for 5 minutes, flipping halfway through. Remove from grill and set aside
Divide barbecue sauce between the two pizza crusts leaving a 1-inch border around the edges. Divide cheese between pizzas.
Slice the Top Dogs into 1-inch pieces. Arrange slices on both pizzas. Divide pineapple between pizzas.
Place one pizza over indirect heat, close lid and grill until cheese is melted and crust is beginning to char, about 5 minutes. Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes. Repeat with remaining pizza.
*to save time use Maple Leaf Ready Crisp Fully Cooked Natural Bacon Slices
