About this Recipe

Tangy BBQ sauce on Honey Maple Smoked Ham with crunch coleslaw, served on a fresh bun.

Ingredients

1 Package Maple Leaf® Country Kitchen Honey and Maple Smoked Ham, sliced
4 Sliced cheddar cheese (optional)
1 cup Ready prepared coleslaw
4 Hamburger buns, lightly toasted
BBQ SAUCE:
3/4 cup Ketchup
3 tbsp Brown sugar
1 tbsp Yellow mustard
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp Lemon juice
2 tsp Chili powder

Directions

PREHEAT broiler to high. Adjust the top rack of the oven to about 3-4” (8-10 cm) from the heat source.

ARRANGE the ham slices on a parchment lined baking sheet. Whisk together all of the ingredients for the BBQ sauce. Brush liberally over the ham. Broil for 2-3 minutes, then turn and brush the other side with sauce. Continue to cook for 2-3 minutes or until the sauce is caramelized.

ASSEMBLE cheese on the split buns, then broiled ham and coleslaw. Top with the other half of the bun and serve.

Notes

To save time use ready prepared BBQ sauce.

BBQ ham slices instead of broiling.
