For some extra flavour try grilling this classic sandwich on your Barbecue!
|8||slices Maple Leaf® bacon|
|8||slices Villaggio® Italian-style white bread|
|4||slices Monterey Jack cheese|
|300 g||shaved turkey slices|
|125 ml||thinly sliced red bell pepper|
|250 ml||fresh arugula|
|60 ml||olive oil|
PREHEAT BBQ to medium
COOK bacon on BBQ in BBQ pan for 5 minutes, turning occasionally until crisp.
DIVIDE evenly all the ingredients on the four slices of bread starting with the cheese. Top with remaining slices of bread to form a sandwich.
BRUSH the outside on both sides of each sandwich with olive oil.
TURN BBQ heat to low, place sandwich on grill and press gently with a spatula. Cook until the cheese is melted and there are grill marks on each side of the sandwich.
