Warm and sinfully delicious this crowd pleasing dip makes for a fantastic easy entertaining appetizer.


1 cup (250 mL) Maple Leaf Prime® Chicken Breast, cooked and shredded
8 slices Maple Leaf® Natural Selections Bacon, cooked and chopped.
1 large round sour dough bread, top removed and hollowed out
1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup (125 mL) BBQ sauce
1 cup (250 mL) sharp white cheddar cheese, grates
1 cup (250 mL) old cheddar cheese, grated
1/4 cup (60 mL) green onion, chopped
1/2 cup (125 mL) creamy ranch dressing
1/8 tsp (0.625 mL) cayenne
1 tsp (5 mL) onion powder


PREHEAT oven to 350 degrees.

PLACE hollowed bread on to a parchment lined baking sheet.

IN a large bowl combine all of the ingredients and spoon into hollowed bread.

LOOSELY tent the top with tin foil and bake for 15 to 20 minutes removing foil for last 5 minutes of baking.

GARNISH with additional cheese, onions and bacon if desired.


Add a little heat and try adding diced jalapeno!
