Warm and sinfully delicious this crowd pleasing dip makes for a fantastic easy entertaining appetizer.
|1 cup||(250 mL) Maple Leaf Prime® Chicken Breast, cooked and shredded|
|8||slices Maple Leaf® Natural Selections Bacon, cooked and chopped.|
|1||large round sour dough bread, top removed and hollowed out|
|1||8 oz package cream cheese, softened|
|1/2 cup||(125 mL) BBQ sauce|
|1 cup||(250 mL) sharp white cheddar cheese, grates|
|1 cup||(250 mL) old cheddar cheese, grated|
|1/4 cup||(60 mL) green onion, chopped|
|1/2 cup||(125 mL) creamy ranch dressing|
|1/8 tsp||(0.625 mL) cayenne|
|1 tsp||(5 mL) onion powder|
PREHEAT oven to 350 degrees.
PLACE hollowed bread on to a parchment lined baking sheet.
IN a large bowl combine all of the ingredients and spoon into hollowed bread.
LOOSELY tent the top with tin foil and bake for 15 to 20 minutes removing foil for last 5 minutes of baking.
GARNISH with additional cheese, onions and bacon if desired.
Add a little heat and try adding diced jalapeno!
