Thick and juicy this hamburger is hiding tenderizing ingredients that you will only know what it is unless you read the recipe! A fresh and quick crunchy slaw tops these soft Dempster Buns


3 L ground pork meat
1 yellow zucchini, shredded
1 carrot, shredded
1 small onion, shredded
1 tsp each, garlic powder, thyme, black pepper, chili flakes
1/2 pouch oinion soup mix
3 tbsp choppped fresh flat leaf parsley
1 cup crushed or ground cracker crumbs
3 lg. eggs
6 Dempster's Hamburger Buns
BanMi Slaw
4 cups thinly sliced nappa cabbage
1 carrot, shredded
1 green onion, thinly sliced
3 tbsp sesame oil
2 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tsp each salt and pepper
1 tsp fish sauce


Mix the 1st 9 ingredients together in a large bowl. Allow to sit for 1/2hr. if you have time or overnight refrigerated.
Divide the mixture into 6 and form 4"-5" patties 3/4" thick.
Grill for 10min on each side on a BBQ grill or pan.
Top with slaw. Toast the buns cut side down on grill and sandwich the burger.
BanMi Slaw
Mix the oil, vinegar, fish sauce and seasonings together. Pour over the cabbage, carrot and onion. With tongs work in the seasonings. Serve immediately or allow to sit refrigerator cover. Juices will release and marinate this slaw.
