Thick and juicy this hamburger is hiding tenderizing ingredients that you will only know what it is unless you read the recipe! A fresh and quick crunchy slaw tops these soft Dempster Buns
|3 L||ground pork meat|
|1||yellow zucchini, shredded|
|1||small onion, shredded|
|1 tsp||each, garlic powder, thyme, black pepper, chili flakes|
|1/2||pouch oinion soup mix|
|3 tbsp||choppped fresh flat leaf parsley|
|1 cup||crushed or ground cracker crumbs|
|6||Dempster's Hamburger Buns|
|4 cups||thinly sliced nappa cabbage|
|1||green onion, thinly sliced|
|3||tbsp sesame oil|
|2 tbsp||rice vinegar|
|1 tsp||each salt and pepper|
|1 tsp||fish sauce|
Mix the 1st 9 ingredients together in a large bowl. Allow to sit for 1/2hr. if you have time or overnight refrigerated.
Divide the mixture into 6 and form 4"-5" patties 3/4" thick.
Grill for 10min on each side on a BBQ grill or pan.
Top with slaw. Toast the buns cut side down on grill and sandwich the burger.
Mix the oil, vinegar, fish sauce and seasonings together. Pour over the cabbage, carrot and onion. With tongs work in the seasonings. Serve immediately or allow to sit refrigerator cover. Juices will release and marinate this slaw.
