Create a tasty appetizer with slices of this cheesy baked pepperoni loaf.


.5 Loaf Villaggio® Original Thick Sliced Italian Style White Bread
.5 cup (125 mL) Melted ready prepared garlic butter
1 (175 g) Package Maple Leaf® Natural Selections® Pepperoni Slices
1 cup (250 mL) Grated Mozzarella cheese
.5 cup (125 mL) Grated Parmesan cheese
Chopped fresh parsley


PREHEAT oven to 350°F (180°C).

CRADLE ½ loaf of bread in a large piece of aluminum foil that has been l lined with parchment paper. Keeping the shape of the loaf intact, brush melted garlic butter on both sides of each slice of bread. Arrange pepperoni slices between each slice of bread and also sprinkle cheese between each slice. Place on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until cheese has melted. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
