About this Recipe

I love turkey wings and this is a special tasty treat.
If you're watching your calories, they are good enough to eat without the spicy sauce - but are even better with the dipping sauce!

2 lbs 8 pieces - Maple Leaf Prime Turkey Winglets and Drumettes
1 cup your favorite BBQ Sauce
16 strips of Maple Leaf Bacon (2 per turkey piece)
16 stalks, fresh thyme
2 tbsp Frank's Red Hot Chili and Lime Sauce - double this ingredient if you love spicy.
1 cup good quality mayonnaise
1 large crushed garlic clove (or 3 small ones)
1 lime, juiced.

1. Marinate the winglets and drummettes in your favorite BBQ sauce for at least 30 minutes, in the fridge.
2. Place two stalks of fresh thyme (one on each side) on each turkey piece. Wrap each turkey piece completely with in two slices of bacon, covering the wing and the thyme.
3. BBQ in a preheated BBQ which is turned down to minimum heat, for 20 minutes.
4. Mix the garlic, lime juice, Frank's Sauce and mayonnaise and serve in a bowl with the hot turkey winglets and Drummettes.
